My Thoughts

 

Despite the slow pacing of this story, I enjoyed it, overall.  Mallory pulled at the heart strings and you couldn't help rooting for her.  While she is not without her faults, it was gratifying to see her journey of self-discovery. To see her figure out who she is and ultimately who she wants to be.  Rider is…well…honestly I wish this had been a dual POV, because this was about his journey too.  I would have liked to get inside his head, also.

 

There were some elements to this that reminded me of the movie Step-Up 1 (without the dancing).  I'm not saying that's a bad thing either. I happen to love that movie...Which is why I picked the song above.  It's from the movie soundtrack...seriously though, Ciara is the shit…

 

Sex Factor:  Angsty…but it's kept quite clean actually.
